Linoprint of the Rensselaerville Library by Sarah Avery Gordon.

Transform the beauty of historic architecture into another timeless medium.

Linocut loves the lines and textures of architecture. I work with clients to capture the beauty of their historic building in a new format to share — creating stunning commemorative pieces, greeting cards, tote bags and more. Images can also be digitized for web content or logos. And, I can capture video, timelapse and photographs of the work in progress for social content.

Every piece is a little different in terms of texture and detail. A highly detailed 5x7” block like this takes me about 10-12 hours to produce, including printing. I can also create larger pieces which take incrementally longer, including 8x10” (~15 hours), 9x12” (~18 hours) and up to A3 (~24 hours), or something custom to your needs.

Clients that place deposits for their 2022 project by December 31, 2021 can lock in my 2021 pricing at $65/hour. Projects for which deposits are placed January 1, 2022 or later will be billed at $75/hour.

Design for do-gooders.

By day as Bleeding Heart Creative, LLC, I design nonprofit websites, annual reports, fundraising campaigns, direct mail—you name it, freelancing from my home studio in Upstate New York.

Art.

By night (and increasingly by day), I’m a linocut artist, host of a monthly Patron Postcard Club, and I dabble in ecofeminist cartooning, noir drawing and painting.
