My background

I began my career in the environmental and agricultural nonprofit sector doing program communications — as the token millennial digital expert working on senior government agency and nonprofit teams at the dawn of social media. In the 2000’s, I worked in the NYS Attorney General’s Environmental Protection Bureau, the NYS Senate, for NYS Dept. of Agriculture and Markets, and for statewide and local nonprofits. Learn more on LinkedIn.

Now, I have two decades of experience spanning from the dawn of social media to the age of AI—and a track record of helping organizations grow along with the times to achieve their wildest dreams. I’ve managed teams, and I’ve excelled at start-up strategy, fundraising, grant writing, public relations, sales, marketing and website design—developing graphic and written content, print and digital, around all of it.

I focus my business on helping nonprofits and social entrepreneurs look their best — so they can maximize the visibility of their work, grow the impact of their communications, and engage audiences without sinking resources into a full-time communications staffer.

From my home office in Rensselaerville, New York — in Upstate New York — I provide specialist, no-overhead communications consulting to nonprofits throughout the United States.

If you’d like to talk about working together, please send me an email. I look forward to hearing from you!
